Project Scope: In 2012, VisitPittsburgh needed to develop the identity for their welcome centers, but because of their workload, their marketing team looked to work with someone outside their own organization. This would provide a focused effort to complete the identity development within a timeframe that coincided with an event scheduled at the Duquesne Incline, one of the welcome center locations. A brochure was needed to distribute throughout the area to educate people on the existence the original four locations (three more locations have since been added) and their offerings.
Project Solution: The branding concept is based on a color-coded / location system, with each location having its own main color and a graphical image to represent a unique feature of each center. Throughout the design of the brochure, this color code to makes it easy for the reader to discern between information pertaining to the various locations.
Other projects for VisitPittsburgh include: interior & exterior signage design, floor mat design, guestbook cover design, ad design, table topper design
