Project Scope: According to statistics published by smallbiztrends.com in January, 2017, it is evident that direct mail marketing is a very viable marketing strategy in today’s business world. In trying to stay on trend and stand out in the crowd, organizers of the Annual Pittsburgh Business Show turned to direct mail to promote the trade show to prospective exhibitors.
Project Solution: Because this was one of the earliest marketing pieces developed to promote the first year of the show, this direct mail piece not only had to sell prospects on the idea of exhibiting at a brand new show, it also had to educate them as to just what the show was all about. The outside set the tone for the Pittsburgh business event, and it unfolded to a poster-like design to with content entice them to be a part of the inaugural edition of this show.
